A brand manifesto is a short, declarative statement of belief — what the brand stands for, what it's against, and why it exists — written with intentional conviction rather than neutral corporate language.

Unlike a mission statement, which is typically functional and internal-facing, a manifesto is usually written to be read by customers directly, often published prominently on a website or used to open a pitch or presentation.

A manifesto works best when it takes a genuine position — something a competitor couldn't credibly claim word-for-word — rather than restating generic values like "quality" or "innovation" that say very little on their own.
